A Happy Week

Hullo Everyone!

How has your week been?  Mine has been especially awesome :)
Can you believe July is nearly over?  I'm a little sad, but I do like the fall.
What are you looking forward to this August?  I'm looking forward to being able to wear some cowls ;)

So here are some things making me happy this week:

1.  Tunisian Crocheting.  You guys already know that I LOVE crocheting, but this Tunisian crochet makes me really happy.  Notice the super pretty pink yarn in there?  Isn't it lovely?!  AND it is hand-dyed by Grace Ann from Would You Like Yarn with That?--Thanks again, Grace!

2.  Doodles.  I love drawing on index cards :)  Star Wars characters tend to be my favorite subject matter.  I'm going to share a few sometime when I figure out how to scan them :)

3.  These shoes.  I love them -SO- much.  So comfy.  So cute.  So in love with them.

I couldn't get a picture of mine, so here is a picture
of the ones I have, found here.

4.  Dragonflies.  I got 6 little iron-on cuties STILL IN THE PACKAGE at the local thrift store for 5 cents.  Sweet, right?!

5.  This hymn.  Check out the link to the post I did about it on The World of Woven Trees.  Such a nice song, love the words!

What sort of things are making you happy this week?

40,000 Pageviews! And... a Platypus?

Hey Everyone!

Not only do I now have 31 followers, I have had 40,000 pageviews!
Of course, technically, I've had more than that, because, if you are reading this right now than I have like, 40,001!  Woohoo!

The sad/pathetic part?  I've been watching my pageviews for like a week now waiting for it to get to 40,000.  Getting over the 39,000 hump took a while.

So, once again, thank you guys SO much!

And we now return to our regularly scheduled programming...

Promise I'll get back to regular posting soon.  I know, how many times have y'all heard that? ;)

This is totally random, but I recently saw "Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension."
Woah.  I officially love Phineas and Ferb.  And Perry the Platypus is awesome!
So when I saw this, I could not have been more excited:

3 Happy Things!

Howdy, Strangers!

Ok, maybe is hasn't been that long...  So sorry I haven't posted in over a week!  I've been pretty busy lately, which I'm sure you all can understand.

Since I really couldn't think of something to post about, I've decided to do another "3 Happy Things" post!  Yay! ;)

Here we go...

#1: PistachiosI recently tried a pistachio for the first time, and I really, really, really, really love them.  I think I could live off of those things!

#2: ShawlsI've been making some shawls lately, which is always very, very fun!  So far I've made 2, one black and one sort of a multi-colored with blue--and I've started on a pink one as well.  I started with the Aleatha Shawl, but I heavily modified the pattern.  Below is a pic of the black shawl--isn't it pretty?

*Please, once again, ignore the photo quality--this was taken with a phone so I'd at least have a picture for this post!*

#3: Rainy Days: Sometimes rainy days are nice--if anything, they are a greatly appreciated break from the summer heat!

What do you guys think?
Do you like pistachios?  Shawls?  Do you love or hate rainy days?

What sort of things are making YOU happy this week?

Have an awesome day!
