Poll time!

Hi Everyone!

Now that the 50 Features have come to an end, I'm having a tough time deciding what I want to post about.  As you can see on the sidebar, I have added a poll to the blog that will be closing on the 5th of January.

So the question is...
What kind of posts would YOU like to see more of for 2012?

The options are:

A:  Patterns-- If you think I need to be making more patterns, or have a suggestion for a pattern, let me know!

B:  Features-- I do quite a few features as it is, so if you think I am featuring too much or too little, just tell me.

C:  Tutorials-- Patterns, or tutorials?  That is the question.

D:  Random-- By "Random" I am referring to posts such as one from a few weeks ago titled "3 Happy Things."  These are super fun to write, but I'd like to know if you find them fun to read!

E:  Other-- This one is pretty easy!  If there is something you would like to see that I have failed to list here, just tell me in a comment!

And the best part?  You can choose more than one thing to vote for!  Yippee!
So, what are you waiting for?  Poll (click?) away!

3 Happy Things

Hi Everyone!

Let me say, today has just been one of those days!  You know, where things just aren't working out, and the weather seems to match the mood?  You know what I'm talking about.

So, in order to keep an optimistic outlook on things, I thought I would post a list of 3 crafty things that are making me smile this week.

1. Ravelry:  I really, really love Ravelry!  It is such a nice way to pass time and find awesome patterns!

2.  Handmade Earrings:  If there is one thing I love, it is making earrings.  But, if there is one thing I love even more than making them, it is wearing them!  You not only get the pretty earrings, but you also get to say "I made these!" to whoever compliments you on them.  I made a pair the other day (pictures soon to come!) and have been enjoying wearing them all day!

3.  Fingerless Gloves:  I crocheted some fingerless gloves last week and I am really loving wearing them!  Fingerless gloves don't entirely make sense--and aren't incredibly useful--but they are so pretty and fun to wear!

What are YOU loving this week?

50 Days of Features: Day 29

Hi Everyone!

I thought I would choose a cute hat for today, but had a hard time choosing just one--so expect to see more in the next few days!

I chose one of my favorites to feature today-- a YODA baby hat!  (Maybe I should have typed Yoda's name in small text since he is little and green?)   How cool is that?!?

One of the cutest ideas ever.
Find the amazingly awesome pattern here

Have a great da-----whoops!  I almost missed my chance there.  "May the Force be with you!"

Miniature Foods = FUN!

Hi Everyone!

I made these little miniatures a while back and have finally gotten around to sharing them!
They were really, really fun to make!

The food is displayed on wooden buttons.  I used regular bake able clay for most of the food, but I used liquid clay for the frosting on one of the cakes and for the glaze on the cinnamon rolls.  I made used a little bottle cap for the pie pan.
I crocheted the tablecloth with some white crochet thread I had.

Miniatures are SO fun to make!  There are some really neat tutorials for it around as well.
Looking for more mini-inspiration?  Check out the Mini Food blog--- and prepare to be amazed!

Hope the rest of your week is awesome!

50 Days of Features: Day 28

Hi Everyone!

I LOVE these little monsters!  You could so use these as gifts!  Just think of all the different ways you could personalize these!

The pattern can be found here at CRAFTYisCOOL.
